What is your current position at UT? Briefly explain. Assistant Academic Advisor to the BSW program. I provide Advising to current and prospective students as well as develop and facilitate events specific to the BSW program.
Have you had any jobs prior to your current job at UT? If so, what were they? An Assistant at an International Office, a Summer Camp Counselor for teenagers, A Graduate Assistant.
What is the most challenging aspect of your current job? Ensuring that I am fair with all students
Why/How did you decide to work in an institution of higher education? I love working in higher education because of the rich ideas that permeate the college campus and also for the opportunity to meet people from rich diverse backgrounds. I also come from a family of educators so they definitely have had an influence on my choice of a career path.
